Happy Friday everyone! Today I decided I would feature a tutorial. As Valentine’s Day approaches I started seeing some really cool origami hearts around on the web. It brought back childhood memories, my grandma used to teach me how to do origami,we’d sit together for hours and it was soo much fun! Origami is a fun craft you can do with MyGrafico’s large variety of papers.
This specific heart I used the Valentine Patterns by Lidija Design. In the example I used the light blue and pink pattern. I liked how it had some white space so it gave it a chic and modern look.
You’ll have to check out her other patterns as well. She has a great variety to choose from.
Now on to the tutorial! These would work out great to place around on table tops during Valentine’s Day or for a party. This tutorial is by Bloomize, she also has several versions of hearts you can try out.
2-sided heart
Totally in love with this heart by Matthew Gardiner which looks identical both front and back. You got try it to believe!
Notes:
Crease well. Bring up the sides to meet in the centre, which should result in a square base. Then fold down the base in half for the heart to show up.
I hope you enjoy the tutorial this Friday! Have a great weekend.
